Bay Expects Big Win

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER. Hawke's Bay has only to play as well as it did last Saturday against Bush to compile another big score in the Ranfurly Shield challenge with East Coast today. The one thing not provided for in any pre-match assessment of the Bush match was the weather, but even in the conditions created by heavy rain, Hawke’s Bay scored six tries to win, 36-6. If the ground remains firm —and McLean Park has recovered remarkably well from the battering it took six days ago—Hawke's Bay should outclass East Cosat.
