Conspiracy Charge
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, July 5. Two Hamilton company directors have been committed to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge of conspiracy, after the hearing of depositions in a Hamilton lower court. The men, Bruce William Mundy, aged 36, and Alfred Roy McEnteer, 34, were charged that on June 1 they conspired with each other, by deceit, to defraud McAlpine Refrigeration (Waikato), Ltd, and Thomas Borthwick and Son (Australasia), Ltd. Both men pleaded not guilty to the charge. The depositions were taken before Mr T. B. Mooney, S.M., and lasted almost three days. Twenty-six witnesses were called by the prosecution, which was led by Detective Sergeant Husband, of the Hamilton CXB. Mr J. G. Dillon appeared for McEnteer, and Mr P. R. Skelton for Mundy.
