Serial Numbers
Because of thefts from Christchurch schools over the last few months, the police have asked that tape-record-ers, record-players, and all other portable equipment have their serial numbers listed and that additional identification marks be added where necessary. The Hagley High School board of governors agreed last evening that such measures would make it so difficult to disnose of stolen goods that thefts would be discouraged.
