Depth Of Talent

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY.

The inclusion of seven newcomers in the New Zealand Rugby team to tour Australia next month showed the country's tremendous depth of talent, said the former Australian coach, Mr B. Palmer, yesterday. “If they can look outside of the team that went to Britain for players, it shows just how strong they are,” Mr Palmer Mid. Mr Palmer coached the Australian team which played New Zealand in the seventy-fifth anniversary test in Wellington last August “I don’t know some of these new fellows, but you can rely on them being good. “They can pick four sides of international players over there and still be top class.”

The previous Australian coach, Mr A. Roper, said it was clear the New Zealand forward strength would be as formidable as ever.
