Cancelled.—Lack of interest has caused the cancellation of the national coaches school to have been held by the New Zealand Women’s Indoor Basketball Association. The national president (Mrs K. R. Gray. Nelson) said there were only five applications from 200 invitations.
Patterson Cup.—Results of the Patterson Cup (peninsula zone) golf matches were: Tai Tapu 6j, Little River 1|; Akaroa 7s. Richmond Hill i; Kaituna 5. Charteris Bay 3. Rugby Nominations.—South Canterbury has nominated four forwards and one back for the Ail Black trials at Wellington on May 4. They are: forwards, T. N. Lister, K. I. Milne, N. Moffat. R. C. Vercoe; back, P. Roddick.
