FOREST SERVICE ROAD GRAVELLING CONTRACT ASHLEY FOREST WRITTEN Tenders close on Friday, May 3, 1968, with the Conservator of Forests, Box 5'3, Christchurch, or Officer in Charge, Ashley, for the supply and spreading of screened gravel at the rate of 5 cubic yards per chain at Ashley Forest. Tenders to be on the basis of a price per cubic yard for supply screening and spreading. Approximately 1500 yards of screened gravel with a maximum size of 2 inches is required to be spread. Gravel to be obtained from selected sites in the Kowal and Ashley Rivers and spreading operations to be carried out as directed by the Officer in Charge, Ashley Forest. Work to be completed by June 30, 1968.
