Deportation Delayed

(N. Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW DELHI, April 23. The Rev. Vincent Ferrer, the Spanish missionary ordered to leave India by next Friday because of “antinational activities,” has been given a two-month extension of his resident permit. The Minister of the Interior (Mr Y. B. Chavan) told the House of the People yesterday that the extension had been granted because of pleas to the Government that Father Ferrer should be allowed to stay.
