DANCING RESULTS

A special contest for noncompetitive dancers was a feature of the 1968 North Canterbury Ballroom Dancing Championships, held in the Rangiora R.S.A. Hall on Saturday evening. This contest was won by Mr and Mrs A. J. Bell, of Waikuku. Their prize, and those won by competitors in the championships, were presented by the Mayor of Rangiora (Mr L. E. Farr), and Mrs Farr. The event was the second organised by the Canterbury Amateur Ballroom Dancing Association. The judges were Messrs W. Wilson and D. Sanderson, both of Christchurch. Competitors were mainly from Christchurch, although some came from Nelson. Results: Latin.—Juvenile: D. Goodman arid K. Tyrell 1, T. Henry and L. Gould 2, K. Jack and R. Crowe 3. Junior: V.
