Polo Team Unbeaten

(N.Z Press Assn—Copyright) SYDNEY.

The touring New Zealand polo team virtually clinched victory in the series at the Royal Easter Show yesterday by defeating the New South Wales country team, Scone, 9-4. New Zealand opened quickly and its attack, spearheaded by the captain, J. Watson, and B. Broughton, left Scone standing. Watson scored four goals, Broughton three, and K. Brown two for the touring side. New Zealand, which has not contested the series for several years, is undefeated, and will meet Queensland on Monday.
