(Prom Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. Mr F. P. A. Campbell, of Belmont Stud, Havelock North, a regular vendor at the National Yearling Sales at Trentham, lost an attractive Ally on the eve of the sales. The filly was by the syndi* cated sire. Agricola, from the Pan II mare. Riffle, a daughter of the Canterbury Cup winner, Marsden. The filly was closely related to the Avondale Cup winner, Craddock. She died of a twisted bowel a few hours before she was due to be loaded on the float for the sales.
