DRIVERS FINED

(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. After the Forbury Handicap at the Invercargill Trotting Club’s meeting yesterday, G. D. Shand, the driver of Fallax, and A. W. Cox, the driver of the winner, Alpha Girl, were fined $3O each for "driving in a manner likely to interfere with the progress of their own and other horses." After the Southland Challenge Stakes, a complaint was lodged against A. F. Heffernan, tlje driver of All Over, on the ground of careless driving, causing interference ,to Red Flash (A. W. Cox). Heffernan was suspended until March 10.
