The favourites, Dollar Man (Southland Challenge Stakes) and Spanaway (Invercargill Restricted Free-for-all), won the T.A.B. double on the second day of the Invercargill Trotting Club’s New Year meeting yesterday. The dividend was $9.75 for $l. Both winners were driven by M. A. Skinner. The racing was held in fine but overcast weather. The track was firm.
