KIWIS WIN
By making changes in its travelling arrangements, the Canterbury Kiwis under-21 cricket team managed another day of play on its tour of Northern New South Wales. At Grafton yesterday, the team failed narrowly to win outright against North Coast Colts, only lack of time preventing the tourists making the 18 runs required for victory. Scores:— Canterbury Kiwis 127/7dec (D. W. Stead 41. I. M. Walter 38) beat North Coast Colts 70 I D. Mcßae 3/27, P. D’Auvergne 4/20) and 74 (Mcßae 2/14, D’Auvergne 2/23, Stead 4/13, J. D. Riley 1/7) by 57 runs on the first innings. 1
