In the final, Hawke's Bay I beat Wellington, 3-2. ! In the Mereweather Cup, [Hutt Valley easily defeated Manawatu, 8-3, in the final, j Final team placings were: I Bensel Cup: Hawke's Bay 12 wins, Wellington and Auckland 11. Waikato 10, Otago 8, Canter* bury 7. Mereweather Cup: Hutt Valley 4 wins, Manawatu 3. Southland. North Otago, and Marlborough 1 each. I Senior B: Wellington 9 wins, Hawke s Bay 8.
