The Melbourne stockbroking firm of J. B. Were and Son has confirmed that Mr James Campbell Johnston would become the senior partner, replacing Mr Staniforth Ricketson, who has died. Mr Johnston is vice-chair-man of the Stock Exchange of Melbourne.
