Wool
Sir, —The experts will surely have thought of this, but may the suggestion still be made that rather than dispose of wool by turning it into food, turn it into fertiliser? The wool is available, the farmers need the fertiliser, and the country needs the foreign exchange which would be saved by cutting the phosphate imports. Failing success, dye the wool pink and sell it as candyfloss.— Yours, etc., WILD AND WOOLLY. December 12, 1967.
