BRIERLEY PASSING 1967 DIVIDEND
tnl. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 17. R. A. Brierley Investments, Ltd, is not paying a dividend for the year to June 30, 1967. It is, however, paying an interim dividend of 3 per cent for the year to June 30, 1968. For the year to June 30, 1966, the company paid an annual dividend of 7i per cent Last July it reported a loss of $54,000 for the year to June 30, 1967. The chairman (Mr R. A. Brierley) said then that con-
sideration of the payment of a dividend had been deferred until October. Tonight he said that the dividend had been passed. In his statement last July Mr Brierley forecast that results for 1968 would be considerably better than those for 1967. The interim dividend of 3 per cent is payable on December 20 and shares will be ex dividend on December 7. Mr Brierley has advised the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand that the company intends to apply again forthwith for official listing of its shares.
