Demolition Tenders
Seven tenders have been received by the Ministry of Works for the contract to demolish the former Y.M.C.A. building, a former garage, and parts of the police station in Hereford street. The demolition will clear the site for the erection of the tower block of a new police headquarters building. Tenders for the demolition contract closed on Monday. It is expected to be a week before acceptance is announced.
