South African Champion (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG. The South African champion Sea Cottage ended his racing career with an easy victory in an invitation handicap on Saturday. In just over three seasons of racing, Sea Cottage won 20 times from 24 starts and earned $117,138. The biggest crowd on a racecourse in the Transvaal saw Sea Cottage win the one mile and 132 yards event.
