NEWSPAPER’S NEW LOOK
Web-offset Printing (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, May 31. The “Wanganui Herald” had a new look today. It was printed on a new six-unit weboffset press imported from the United States. The installation is the largest in weboffset by a provincial daily newspaper. It has full colour capability. On Saturday, June 3, the “Wanganui Herald” will celebrate its centenary. It was founded in 1867 by John Ballance, who later became the first Liberal premier.
