White Almost At Century
On Saturday P. M. V. White, the high-scoring Addington Rugby League winger, was credited with having reached his century in club play this season. This information was given to the crowd over the public address system after he had scored his second try against Papanui. Later in the evening the team coach said that earlier in the season White had inadvertently been credited with two points from a field goal that had been kicked by R. Cotter. At present White’s amended total Is 99, with the match against Sydenham to be played next Saturday. I
