SARDINIAN MURDERS
Two Bodies Found (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ROME, May 9. Two fresh murders have been reported from banditplagued Sardinia. Th® bullet-ridden body of France Soro, an 18-year-old mechanic, was found near Orgosolo, in the heart of the bandit country. He had been shot at close range, apparently a victim of a vendetta. At Lode, in the north-east, shepherds came across the body of one of their number, 61-year-old Giovanni Asole, hidden in a bush.
Yesterday, a policeman, Mr Giovanni Bianchi, aged 21, was buried at Nuoro, central Sardinia.
Bianchi and two other colleagues were wounded by a burst from a tommy-gun when they flagged down a car to check the driver’s licence last Thursday. He died in hospital on Saturday.
