DAY IN HOUSE
The annual report of the Ombudsman, and papers relating to a trade agreement between New Zealand and South Korea, were tabled when Parliament resumed yesterday afternoon. An extension of the question and answer period was granted and 27 questions were answered. During the afternoon the House debated two motions, one by Mr H. Watt (Lab., Onehunga) censuring the Government for its economic measures, the other by Sir Leslie Munro (Nat., Waipa) commending the Government for its action in South Vietnam.
During the evening, Address-in-Reply was resumed, the speakers being:—Labour: Mr G. Christie (Napier), Mrs E. E. McMillan (Dunedin North). National: Messrs V. Young (Egmont), R. L. G. Talbot (Ashburton), and W. L. Young (Miramar).
