Rickstan Will Quit Retailing
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 10. Rickstan Holdings, Ltd., Auckland, will discontinue independent retail trading and revert to distribution through normal merchant outlets, directors announce. The directors expect the new means of distribution will result in a wider distribution of goods throughout New Zealand. Last year the company earned a net profit of £6667 which compared with the net loss of £37,862 incurred in 1965.
No dividend has been paid by the company since 1963, when 8 per cent was paid on ordinary shares.
