Thefts At Park

While footballers were practising at Middleton Park on Tuesday evening, the changing shed was entered and £72 worth of their possessions stolen. Items stolen included two wristlet watches, a transistor radio and £5 from a wallet. It was the second time in a fortnight that fotballers had suffered a severe loss through leaving valuables in an unlocked and unguarded pavilion. Addington Rugby League players had possessions stolen while practising at the Jerrold street ground.
