LOST STERN REPLACED

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 8. A man working on his 26ft launch at Howick today laughed and chortled to himself as he nailed the whole stern of his boat back on and fastened clamps to secure it. Mr D. Jones ripped the stem off his boat while shifting moorings last night With putty and nails the stem was stuck back on and the boat was refloated early today.
