No Funds For Fire Service

NEW PLYMOUTH, May 2. The present economic situation meant that no additional funds (Would be available this year to the fire service by way of Government contributions, said the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Seath), when opening the Urban Fire Authorities Association’s annual conference in New Plymouth today. “This may mean the deferment of some works and the postponement of other desirable projects,” said Mr Seath
