Boy Fatally Injured

(From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, May 3. A six-year-old boy, who was struck by a car while crossing Wai-iti road at midday today, died at the Timaru Hospital this evening. He was Raymond Paul Budny, a son of Mr and Mrs T. Budny, of 24 Pukaki street, Timaru. The vehicle was driven by Gary John Towler, aged 19, a plasterer, of Pareora. The boy was taken to hospital by St John ambulance. Earlier it was reported that he suffered head injuries and a fractured left leg and that his condition was fairly satisfactory, but he collapsed and ®ed.
