HONDAS HERE
The recently-announced Honda SBOO sports and coupe models are now available in New Zealand, the distributors have announced. The two models are additions to the Honda range and do not replace the S6OO models. The SBOO sports model will cost about £1242, with £548 being required in overseas funds, this figure including the 15 per cent premium. The coupe will cost £1337 (£589 sterling). The SBOO has a top speed of 100 m.p.h. and is powered by a 70 b.h.p. four-cylinder four-stroke engine that can safely be rewed to 8500 r.p.m. Turning circle is about 30ft and the four-speed gearbox has synchromesh on all forward ratios. The suspension is conventional, and disc brakes are fitted to the front wheels.
The Chrysler Corporation has increased its annual car assembly capacity in the United States by 300,000 units since 1964.
