VOICE TOP MARKSMAN

The final of the club rifle championship series was fired by the East Christchurch Rifle Club over the 300, 500 and 600 yard ranges. A possible at 500 yards by T. Voice assured him of victory in the main event. The leaders* scores over the three days of the aggregate were:— T. Voice, first day 95, second day 96, third day 102, total 293; F. Nicoll, 93, 100, 90, 283; E. Judson, 92, 98, 91, 281; G. Wilson. 94, 93, 94, 281; B. Reeves, 87, 84, 85, 256. Scores were also registered by C. Thom, 34, 34, 32, 98; W. Ramscarr, 32, 31, 32, 95; R. Fairclough, 26, 30, 29, 85.
