Attempt On Record
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) SYDNEY. Ths champion New Zealand mare, Robin Dundee, will make her last Sydney appearance in a special attempt on the Australian pacing mile record at Harold Park tonight. Robin Dundee’s owner, Mr J. W. Hewitt, will receive 500 dollars appearance money for the mare, and 2500 dollars altogether If she breaks the record. The present mile pacing record of Imin 58.7 sec was set by Ribands In a time trial at Harold Park in 1954. The record bid will be made at 11 p.m. New Zealand time.
