Official Assignee Wins Decision
Judgment amounting to £1077 in favour of the Official Assignee on behalf of William Rezso Simon, a bankrupt— a sum comprised of £4OO as the value of his tools and plant, and £677 from Arnold and Wright, Ltd. electrical merchants and light-fitting specialists—has been entered by Mr Justice Macarthur in a reserved decision in the Supreme Court The action, heard last August arose from the fact that Simon, in business as a designer and manufacturer of light fittings, had entered into an agreement with Arnold and Wright to. market his entire production for three years. On Simon’s adjudication as a bankrupt the Official Assignee had sought possession of his tools and plant (or the value thereof) and other assets.
