WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. A sentence of six months' Imprisonment was Imposed by Mr Justice Tempkins in the Supreme Court today on Roy Albert Barry, aged 43, a cleaning contractor, when be appeared for sentence on a charge of bigamy. Bigamy was a serious crime and called for a prison sentence, his Honour said. On account of Barry’s previous good conduct the term would be as short as possible. Mr B. Horton appeared for the Crown, and Mr H. M. Romaniuk for Barry.
