(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ATHENS, January 24. Zoos throughout the world have been asked to provide animals for a proposed zoo in Athens, said the Mayor, Mr George Plytas, yesterday when outlining plans to start a zoo—the first of its kind in the Greek capital. “Greece has not yet acquired a zoo and Greeks who have never travelled abroad, have never seen a live lion, elephant, rhinoceros or_other wild animals in natural surroundings,” Mr Plytas said.
Over-exposure Law.— Miami's city commissioners yesterday passed a law which prohibits waitresses and entertainers from appearing with bare breasts or dressed in skin-tight outfits “so as to appear uncovered.” Miami, January 24.
