Trousseau Stolen
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. A burglar who chooses women's clothing has struck twice tn the same place recently and disrupted a young Australian woman's wedding plans.
The victim of the thefts is Miss Beverley Guinane, a 26-year-old Melbourne girl living in Wellington and due to marry a New Zealander on February 25.
She has lost her £5O wedding dress an ’ other clothing bought specially for the honeymoon. The total value of the clothing is £l7O.
Miss Guinane is now frantically searching for a new trousseau.
Both raids were made in the daytime while Miss Guinane and the three other girls she shares an Abel Smith street flat with were at work.
On the first occasion the burglar stole cosmetics and a vase, worth a total value of £lB.
On his second call Miss Guinane's clothing and a photograph of her sister’s wedding disappeared.
The police are investigating.
