Mr D. W. Rutherford (Shirley Boys’ High School) said at a council meeting that he had noted that the proposals had been referred to school principals and he recalled that the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) had given an undertaking to consult the association.
Mr Cartwright said the mister had already consul-
ted the executive of the association. He assumed the school principals were being invited to comment and that final proposals would be circulated.
No change before 1968 was envisaged, Mr Cartwright said.
