Kaiapoi Crossing
Kaiapoi Borough Council and Railways Department representatives Wil have discussion on the spot to see what can be done to make the Main North road level crossing at Kaiapoi safer. At Monday’s meeting, the council was told that the crossing had a low priority for half-arm barriers, and the department considered that improvements could be made in the vicinity to make for greater safety.
