TWO NEW MEMBERS

Two new members were welcomed to yesterday’s meeting of the Regional Planning Authority. They are the newly elected chairman of the Waimairi County Council (Mr D. B. Rich), who replaces the former chairman (Mr O. C. Mitchell), and the recently appointed chief surveyor of the Lands and Survey Department (Mr C. M. Rainsford), who replaces the retired chief surveyor (Mr J. M. Grant).

On the recommendation of the executive committee, the authority appointed Mr Rainsford to the Technical Advisory Committee, and the Summit Road Advisory Committee.
