Obituary MR G. A. LANG
(N.Z. Press Association) | WELLINGTON. ' Mr G. A. Lang, a Welling-' ton businessman, racehorsej owner and former Wellington) ) Rugby representative, died • suddenly yesterday. Mr Lang, aged 67, foundedj the firm of G. A. Lang and: Company, Ltd., builders’ hardware merchant, in Wellington more than 40 years ago. He owned the high-class galloper, Longsword; the New Zealand Derby and Wellington Cup winner, Royal Tan; Gulf Stream, Globe Trotter, and Military Maid. He was a member of the Wellington Racing and Trotting Clubs.
