WAINONI GARAGE
Six Objections Heard Six objections were made to an application by Mr R. R. Templeton (Mr J. G. Hutchison) to the Christchurch City Council’s town planning panel to establish a garage, workshop and service station at 173-175 Wainoni road, on Monday. It was claimed that the application was in the public interest, to allow traffic on the left side of Wainoni road to get petrol without having to cross the road. Objections came from Reg. Muirson, Ltd., H. A. S. Cook, Ltd., Mrs M. I. Orchard, 179 Wainoni road, Mr N. Dench, 171 Wainoni road, and Mr H. E. I. and Mrs E. M. Shaw, 174 Wainoni road. The panel, Crs. W. P. Glue and G. D. Hattaway, will report to the council’s town planning committee.
