(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 31. A young mechanic with farming experience, Mr Gordon Wickham, of Inglewood, will leave Auckland today for two years’ work in North-east Thailand under Volunteer Service Abroad. Mr Wickham will work with a service team engaged in community and agricultural development in the less fertile and poorer part of Thailand.

Mr Wickham is sponsored by the Hawera branch of Volunteer Service Abroad, which has raised £l2OO to finance his work.
