Higher Theft Premiums

WELLINGTON, Oct. 11.

Substantial increases in premiums for burglary insurance have been forecast next year as a result of increase in theft crimes. Insurance officers in Wellington today predicted a reassessment would be made of all insurance against theft or burglary. They consider it likely that there will be substantial ini creases in premiums next year especially for business houses such as jewellers.
