The New South Wales Cabinet today decided to impose “a cooling-off period” for door-to-door credit sales.

The Premier, Mr Robin Askin, said the Minister of Justice, Mr Maddison, would bring down the legislation to curb door-to-door pressure salesmen as soon as practicable.
