“Miss America" Chosen
IN .Z .P .A .-Reuter—Copyright > ATLANTIC CITY, Sept. 11. Jane Anne Jayroe. a 19-year-old Oklahoma City university student, was selected “Miss America, 1967,” at the annual beauty pageant last night. A crowd of 18,000 in Convention Hall and a nationwide television audience watched the crowning of the green-eyed brunette from Laverne, Oklahoma. Miss Jayroe is sft 6in, weighs Bst 41b, and her vital statistics tare 36-24-35.
