DOCUMENTS SEIZED

Claims About President (N.Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MUNICH, September 9. Munich police last night seized documents on display purporting to prove that the West German President, Dr. Heinrich Luebke, was involved in the construction of Nazi concentration camps. The documents, exhibited in a private satirical theatre, include a “secret plan for construction of a concentration camp” allegedly signed by Dr. Luebke. His office has described the signature as fake. East Germany and Czechoslovakia have repeatedly charged that the President was involved in the construction of concentration camps, co-operated with the Gestapo, and made use of ill-treated and poorly-fed slave labourers.

The accusations were denied by the President’s office.
