The leading jockey, R. J. Skelton, is likely to ride in England next year. He has been asked to ride in a £lO,OOO race which the Racecourse Association, Ltd., of London, hopes to hold at Goodwood next March, according to a Press Association message from Auckland. Skelton received the invitation through the New Zealand Racing Conference. He said yesterday he was thrilled to accept.
