Efford Memorial Lecture

The importance of a liberal education for the individual trade union member will be the theme of a public lecture organised by the Workers’ Educational Association on September 14 at the W.E.A. Centre. The lecture commemorates the name and work of Mr Lincoln Efford who was the W.E.A. secretary from 1947 to 1962.

This year’s lecture will be given by Mr Arnold Hely, executive officer for the National Council of Adult Education, Wellington.
