English The Solution

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) DIXMUDE (Belgium),

August 28.

Rivals lu Belgium’s French-Flemish** language war’’ have been told that their problem would eventually fade away because Europe’s main language would be English.

The theory was aired by a Flemish leader, Mr Hendrik Borginon, addressing some 50,000 persons at a Flemish rally in Dixmude.

He said that with the scientific and technical progress in modern Europe, language problems would gradually lose their importance.
