Badly Hurt
An elderly man was seriously injured on Saturday night when he was knocked down on a pedestrian crossing in Upper Hutt. He is Herbert Joseph Stevens, aged 63, of Main road, Trentham. He is in the Hutt Hospital with severe head injuries, fractured right leg and collar bone, and a punctured lung.
