A CLASSIC HOPE

Castle Command Impressive (Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) MELBOURNE. The three-year-old New Zea-land-bred colt Castle Command stamped himself as a real classic hope with an eight-length win in the Morang Handicap (one mile) at Moonee Valley on Saturday. It was Castle Command’s third successive win. A well-backed 7/4 favourite he was not troubled to win easily from the 50/1 shot, Martuku, with Papke a head away third. UNPLACED The Dunedin trainer, A. E. Didham, had no luck with his pair, Bastille and Ski, which were both unplaced.
